I haven't had junk food, soda, or ice cream since Febuary...does that count?

Just start slow..next time your favorite junk food pops up, take smaller portions each time and with it add a veggie. I turned cheese curls into carrots, for instance.

It is VERY EASY to keep at it, though. Once you have finished switching from a junkie to a veggienatic, it's simple to stay that way.

Junkfood has another name-convenience food. I would prefer to not eat it, but sometimes it's all I have time for. Sometimes the fruit isn't ripe at the grocery store, but the chips are always perfect. Certain things have gotten easier to eat healthy-milk in single serve bottles for instance, but even then most people will buy the chocolate or strawberry.

Yes of course you can live without junk food, think what its doing to your body. If you eat breakfast lunch and dinner then you wouldnt want any extra food as your body would feel full and on healthy diet you will feel so much better in yourself. I have never had a McDonalds ever and I dont think I am missing out on anything except junk. I prefer brown sugar rye bread with sunflower seeds and honey and its delicious with pastrami and mustard! I use skimmed milk and as long as you cook and add lots of vegetables and seasoning its very tasty and filling, afer a while you would not even want crisps and chocolate why would you or even if you did, treat yourself now and again. there's no harm in moderation. think junk food is plague of modern society and people eat or graze all day. thats fine if thats what they want but look at long term effect ~ you only get one body take care of it. would you feed this to your child? no you wouldnt so why would you do it to yourself? bananas are lovely when you want something sweet or any fruit and dried fruit is sweet and nuts are a tasty snack if your out and stuck with a fresh orange juice. great for mind and body good nutrition. think society is now seeing the effects of all this convenience food and eliminating it from diet. if you value your health and want a good life then you can do it its not hard and you'll feel better for it, its not like a diet you can eat yoghurts, fruit, milk, soya chocolate shakes (delicious) the health shops do coconut macaroons that are wheat free and there's so much to choose from there's always a treat somewhere but make it a healthy treat. If you just make a small change say from full cream milk to semi skimmed and then to skimmed IF you went back you would taste the fat and its revolting. then add another thing like buying brown sugar instead of white and decreasing your sugar intake. thats a start but if you try to convert everything overnight your more likely to revert back to old ways. give it a go, I love coffee and I still love the smell its so lovely but I wont drink it and I can make do with just the aroma. I also drink decafeinated tea and its exactly the same but without caffeine. Years ago I never used to eat fruit or veg and filled up with stodgy food and then I gradually eliminated certain foods and introduced new ones I also thought people who drank water straight were odd but now I buy water and always drink water with meals and first thing in morning freshly squeezed orange juice. my body feels so much better and I function better I also now love fruit and vegetables so if I can change anyone can. do whats right for you and give it a try change one item a week.

I love to eat and I love junk, but what I did is buy those 100 calorie packs and eat those in moderation. That way you can control how much you are eating. Lots of companies are putting them out from cookies to chips. It is possible to cut it out totally but my advice is don't because chances are you will fall back on your diet if you don't splurge once a week if you have been doing really well.

Of course it's possible. You'd just have to have strong willpower. But why do it? There's nothing wrong with occasionally indulging in something junky. Just do it in moderation and balance it out well with healthier foods. Most of the time, when people try to cut out junk food entirely, it ultimately just leads to binges down the line. Much better to just let yourself have a treat now and then. Just be sensible about it.

sure, it is plausible to under no circumstances devour junk back ( in case you do not have a health required pick for sugar, it is). Up till 50 years in the past, many American Indian countries (like the Alaskan Eskimos, for instance) under no circumstances ate any junk of their diets. In parts of the 0.33 international, there is no such ingredient as junk foodstuff as all of us understand it. it is all proteins, some ordinary grain carbs and convey. you do not ought to furnish it up thoroughly, except for sure your relationship with foodstuff is like and alcoholic's to booze, purely reduce the intake to once an afternoon, then once each and every 3 days till you get to once a week or the position ever your mushy position is. do not provide it up all right now, you'll freak out your equipment and double your sugar cravings. good success, you should do it. Yeah, it's going to be not basic, yet no longer as not basic because the timber of a coffin.

I think it's possible but junk food survives because it just tastes good. I mean fries taste great. Ice cream is wonderful.

I have tried to at least cut back but the temptation is always there. I would advise to go for it but be prepared for setbacks. It's kind of like quitting cigarettes. Just keep quitting over and over until it sticks.

No way. I've tried it for a day and failed. Even some breakfast bars are no better than candy bars. I simply cound not do it. In my job, I'm always on the go, so I may grab a slice of pizza and a soda at the convenience store, or a burger for lunch.

its possible but i believe that you need a soda or a choclate bar every wonce in awhile. rationing your junkfood intake is a great way to balance your diet. Eat more healthy foods than junk.
