Heinekin Domestic - only found in Amsterdam
Tuborg - oh so delicious. From Denmark
Gambrinus/Staropramen/Budvar/Pilsner Urquell - Czech beer
Sam Adams summer brew - Boston Mass.
Magic Hat #9 and Fat Angel - Burlington Vt.
Chimay - Belgian

Fat Tire is great beer brewed be the New Belgium Brewing Company in Fort Collins, CO (I Toured the brewery, it was awesome). Shiner Bock (brewed in Texas) is also pretty good. But I think Bavarian beers are by far the best, IMO.

I learned to like beer when I lived in Germany. The best beers are made with wheat instead of malt. A good domestic beer is Sam Adams Cherry and Wheat.

My favorite used to be Stingo Barley Wine (made by Watney's) but it got discontinued. Then it went to Old Nick. Now, I find I like Guinness, but because of price I buy Warsteiner even though I enjoy Coors. When an import is less expensive than a domestic, it could be a better buy, provided you like it.

Carlsberg Gold. Can't seem to get it at all in N. America. Don't drink more than two cans if you intend to carry on a sensible conversation after.
Failing that the regular Carlsberg, Newcastle Brown Ale, Theakstons Old Peculiar (in a can over here), Tequiza.......boy I didn't know I drank this much...hic!
