When I delete anything, it doesn't go to my recycle bin, it just gets directly deleted. How do I turn the recycle bin back on, or whatever?

Right click the recycle bin.
Choose properties.
Click the box that allows you to not delete files but send them to the recycle bin.

If files are over a certain size they will be directly deleted, but you're probably having a different problem.

Probably related to the recycling bin allocation. Like the answers below mention.

Go the the properties for recycle bin and uncheck "Do not move files to the recycle bin" and also make sure "Display delete confirmation dialog" is checked, hope this helps

Make sure you are allocating enough space to the Recycle Bin. and make sure you have the same options for all drives.

Other than that, maybe you should CHECK "Confirm before deleting".

Those are the only three options that you have to figure your problem out.

You might want to check to see what you have your recycle bin capacity is set to. If it's too low, nothing will stay in it. Also check the registry to see if there is a boolean value that might be incorrect.
