Recently after I worked out my deltoid with dumbbell, I found there is a lump (the size of a dime) formed on the backside of my right deltoid. It hurts when pressed with a finger. What is it?

Go to the doctor, get a biopsy. I understand its in your shoulder, but just check it out. Then again, cysts don't hurt. It could be scar tissue if it hurts. Especially if you found it right after you worked out. Try working it out by pressing on it and moving it around a little. It will be a little discomforting....but if you feel it move or decrease in size at least you are working it out.

But, I'm not a medical professional, I just work out alot and sometimes I get knots (scar tissue)....you should just go to the doctor.

LMAO. That will teach you to exercise your deltoid with dumbbell (recently) won't it.

My advice, don't press with finger, go see doctor like normal person.

Oh man it could be those muscle worms you can get from improperly handled meat. Trichinosis I think. Or it could be a cyst
