Why would you want to transport a machete around. I can see no good in this and probably will get you a jail sentence if caught.

I would be careful driving around with it because it is a conceiled weapon. As for legally owning one, I believe that one can own one depending upon the blade length. If it is longer than the law mandates, I think it has to be for display only (meaning having no sharp edge).
At least this is what I've heard. . .

untill you hide it its legal anywhere except some businesses wear it on your hip with the cover cut away except the toe end and the hanger top so its exposed until the weapons hidden its safe to wear concealing is the problem and in the car put it on the seat not the floor or the sides out in the open
