I married my high school love, but we divorced a year later. It's not all it's cracked up to be.

One of the girls I grew up with ... her parents started dating at 14 and were married at 17 - day after graduation. Almost 50years later and they are still going strong.
My co-worker on the other hand, married her highschool boyfriend 11 years ago and they have two kids, a big mortgage and resent the hell out of each other for never having been able to see what else was out there ...

I'm engaged to my high school sweetheart. We dated over 30 years ago and separated. I married and divorced he never married but has 4 children. About 3 years ago he saw me on a local television program and contacted me. Although it started out a little rocky I'm happy to report that we are engaged to be married, and are happier than ever. I always loved this man, and never stopped even after all those years....

I met my high school sweetheart in the hospital. He was in a room down the hall for me and would walk up and down the halls two or three times a day and would wave when he went by my room. One day he didn't come by, so I pulled myself out of my bed and went by his room.. We went to different high schools, but in a small town like the one we live in, we might as well have gone to the same one.
He was 18 when we started dating, and I was 16. We were basically inseperatable for the next two years until I went off to college. When I came back he proposed, unfortunetly he passed away before our wedding day.. but I am grateful for the time I had with him.. and blessed by the daughter everyday by we have together..

My husband and I went to different highschools. But we met at a junior college, senior year. We were attending to get extra credits, to meet graduation requirements. It was almost like we were meant to be. We noticed eachother, and ONLY eachother right off the bat! Now 10 years and 3 kids later, we are still happily married. I ⥠him
