i have learned how to forgive myself and stop 'regretting' but if there is anything that i regret it is that i did not learn until very late in life how to sustain and improve loving relationships in the past that either died or turned SOUR. it all seems so simple now to make a relationship good. but i was brought up in a family where loving, respectful and, most of all, TRUTHFUL conduct was not taught, modeled or even desired! funny, i always thought i was bad and wrong until psychology helped me see the truth of just how badly my parents raised us kids. so i regret that i didn't love and honor the several girls and best friends i had before but ever so grateful that relationship training has rewaded my wife & i with a very good and loving relationship that we now know how to maintain and keep lovingly alive.
we hope that you will learn how to have a good relationship and that your kids won't be raised as horribly as we were! there are lots of relationship 'how to' books and groups out there so GO FOR IT!
best wishes,
jim

regret is a wasted emotion..cuz you can't change how things are anyways...plus if you where able to change things from the past...when you regret something it is something you rather not of done and you learn from and even if u change how things were in the past..you would of learned from and it might happen anyways since you didn't learn to first time...although sometimes you think your life would be easier if you could change a few things...but you can't seek perfection

I would have married the guy I was dating at 25 instead of waiting for someone more handsome, rich, etc... to come a long.
I regret that almost every day. I loved him and didn't even know it.

One of my most deepest regrets is not being able to truely befriend my classmates at high school. If I am given at least one chance, I would want to be more involved with them and as well as the reverse.

its a snowball effect...one mistake was moving out of my parents house at 16 things were bad but things were alot worse once I was on my own...passed up a free ride to college because i had to work 2 jobs..becoming a father at a young age(21)...then married then divorced..so on so on..now Im 29 and feel like I dont have nothing to look forward too..working some BS job...so young folks..stay home as long as you can no matter how bad you think things are or how bad your parents get on your nerves..

Not getting a chance to say goodbye to the most important person in my life. I think it would make it better, by making it worth living.
