It may or may not happen they could be born with it and it may never affect them or else it can but also sometimes you wont even see it. With cats you might want to get everybody checked out because if mama is still nursing it would proably be best if you started hand feeding them and also take them to the vet.

unfortuantly i would recommend having a cat with Feline lukemia put down as their is no known cure only ways of keeping the symptoms at bay so to speak.

any kitten born to a feline lukemia cat will have it and also other cats in the area are being endangered by cats with Feline lukemia that are alowed to wander.

The kittens *can* get FeLV from the mother, but it doesn't always happen. Test the kittens at about 6-8 weeks of age. It's possible for some kittens to be infected and others not.

In the meantime, make sure to keep them in as healthy an environment as possible; kittens with FeLV tend to be much more susceptible to upper respiratory infections.

Yes they can get it. It doesn't mean all of them may get it. They just might be what is called a carrier. It misses them and when they eat or scratch another cat the other cat may get it. There is not a cure after it has been diagnosed. Most vets recommend that the cat be euthanized. sad but true. The FLV death is extremely painful to watch and to die of I am sure.

i imagine kittens are adorably wonderful! toddlers are wonderful too, yet in addition they **** their britches, slobber, pull hair, bellar, and so on. while, kittens purely make wonderful little mews and shred stuff with their claws. YAY kittens!
