Well...most people *pronounce* your and you're the same; I assume you mean in writing for that one. But, yes, "I could care less" and "supposably" are really annoying!!

i have noticed this also. I believe it could be 2 things. One, they are lazy and they just use the shorter less gramatically correct form like you said. Secondly, I believe that they say it because they have never been taught the correct way of saying things. I have noticed that the older people get the less they remember about grammer. Have you ever noticed that people think they have to use an apostrophe to make something plural? For example, skate's rather than skates?

Well you're and your are said the same, so I never noticed people saying them different, but yes I did notice that they type them the wrong way
As far as the "could care less" thing, I am sorry I never heard people say that where I live

I think people say "could care less" just because it involves fewer words; it's almost like verbal shorthand.

Use of the word "suposably" is just ignorant.

1. I must admit that I messed up several times on the first example, really I should be saying "I couldn't care less", meaning that nothing you say or do could make me care any lesser.

2. It's SUPPOSEDLY.

3. Y-O-U-R = YOUR. Y-O-U-'-R-E = You are!

hehe, i think is someone says your, you couldnt determine if it was you're or your. you could only tell if they were typing.

they also say "there" instead of "their". i think it's mostly because they failed english class.
