I often have small bumps on my arms, like pimples, and when i squeeze them this white substance flows out and i feel really great, somehow. Over the years I become addicted to doing it, especiallly when i'm feeling down or bored. But everytime i do it a scar develops and now my arms are filled with ugly scars. Help??

Well it could be sumac poisoning ( which is a type of plant) are just some type of genetic problem. and as for the scarring you could have diabetes.

This may be a form of OCD. The condition you describe on your arms may be keratosis pilaris:

Your urge to constantly pick is actually a form of self-mutilation. Some people actually carry this to the point of digging down into muscle tissue, on their faces and elsewhere. It is a disorder, and you should probably seek help if you really feel you cannot stop on your own. The scars will fade in time, but only if you stop right now. Your skin can only take so much abuse; and you really need to examine WHY you do this; what triggers you to do this so that you can possibly stop this behavior from happening.

I wish you luck.

I do the same exact thing. I thought I was the only one in this world who does this. I can't stop myself from doing it either. I went to the doctor and she gave me some $ 65 dollar cream. It helps as long as you don't pick at it, but I couldn't quit picking at it.But i feel better knowing that I'm not the only one in this world doing it.

the scars should fade over time. or get a lighting cream. its hard to break a habit but try doing some thing else when you think about it

See a doctor ASAP before you turn into a big scar!

You are probably obessive compulsive (1) and (2) your little bumps are probably eczema and will spread like wildfire when you pop them.

Go see a doctor and quit picking at yourself.
