I am just wondering because a boy my age told me he loved me and I am not sure if I am ready to be in love yet.Is that because I am not matture enough or is it because I am not comfortable with being in love?So which sex mattures faster?P.S. This was a couple of months ago.

all depends on the person. On average women are more emotionally mature untill the late 20s when guys finally catch up, but there are guys who are more mature than the average woman, and women who are less than average guy. My fiance is three years older than me and we've been the same level of emotional maturity since I was 17.

Girls mature two years faster than boys but the eventually catch up. Just because your not ready to love doesn't mean your not mature. Let the feeling come to you don't force yourself to love someone.

girls definetly mature faster than guys, but that's only because girls are born with more nerve endings connecting to brain matter. That's why most girls date older guys. They're looking for someone on their mental level.

Just to let you know boys nor men ever grow up.
They think they are in Love till they get in your pants then they may only talk to you again to see if youll keep giving in, or may never talk to you again. If you are not old enough to be in Love or to have a job then I would stay clear. Plus men, boys whatever will say anything if they think that is what you want to hear.

girls mature faster. it depends on how old you are, how mature you & him are. and if ur not ready then you dont have to be in love, but u can still b in a relationship for now,

Commonly known fact: Girls mature faster than boys. Think about it: teen boys still like to play with video games like they did when they were younger. Teen girls don't like to play with Barbies anymore.

Boys try to remain boys til their forties.
Women spend from 13 to 50 trying to look 25.
Take your time. Understanding, accepting and giving love comes with maturity. Enjoy life and get to know who you really are. It will save you from future dilemmas.
