Here is a quote I pulled from one of the previous questions from Gloria V.

"Actually, He has revealed Himself as the creator of the universe. It's called read the Bible. Please don't post things like this. They're offensive to Christians, like me."

Please note, this is NOT A ******* CHRISTIAN WEBSITE! It offends me that Christianity is trying to force its beliefs into every aspect of the world. Religion is a dying race, it has outlived its usefulness and should be erradicated. All religion is is spirituality mixed in with the supernatural. The supernatural is for people to stupid to think and the spiritual is for people too lazy to think.

I am an atheist, therefore I am not bound by the religious hypocricy. If you dont like your children reading this, then dont let them. Children should not be involved in religion until they are capable of thinking anyways.

Painting everybody with the same brush, regardless of their beliefs, is bigotry. Sadly, in this day and age, it seems there are two groups whose beliefs it is acceptable to bash openly.

The first is Islam, due to so-called 'Islamic fundamentalist' terrorists. These are people whose knowledge of their own religion is so twisted by the hatred and fear of their leaders, and themsleves, that they ignore the teachings of their own prophet. In short, these fundementalists cannot recall the fundmentals of their own religion. The idea that Muslim = terrorist is one that, scarily, is becoming almost institutionalised in the media.

The second is Christianity. Christian-bashing is acceptable because 'we', the dominant religion in Wetsern society, have persecuted others for millenia. Again, how does being Christian make me responsible for the historical actions of the Catholic church, and other such institutions?

I am not a reactionary who jumps up and down at the idea not everybody agrees with what I believe. Not all Christians agree with each other. I believe what I do because I thought about it, not because I was brainwashed, or am uneducated. I know plenty about other religions, about science, and at the end of the day, I still believe there is a higher power out there. Whatever you wish to name it.

What I do object to is people who stay that I am stupid to believe what I do. I object to anyone who abuses another on religious grounds, no matter what they are. And I see no point to your question except 'Christian-bashing'.

It is offensive to any thinking person who believes in civil rights, like me.

Try asking something meaningful, or take your hate and anger elsewhere.

Heh, oh boy, where to begin.... First of all, Christians have just as much of a right to use this site as anyone else. Just as it is not a Christian website, it is also not a atheist website.

If something offends you, get over it. What is the big deal? As my mom used to say, "If you are wrong, admit it, and if you are right, shut up."

This may not be a Christian website, but it is also not a website where it is appropriate to cuss. Using the f-word is not appropriate and there is no reason for it.

grow up...read your post and if it doesn't embarrass you, then you need real help...first off, religion is not a race, dying or otherwise...second, why do you freak out that someone complains that you offended them, and then you go on to complain that YOU'RE offended? third, if this is for people too stupid and lazy to think, why are you wasting your time in the site? and fourth, gratuitous obscene language is usually the mark of a third-rate intellect trying to forcefully get a point across...and take some time out of your busy schedule to attend a GED class...my daughter is in 5th grade and has a better command of the English language...

Does it really matter how you get to God as long as you get there, call it Christ, call it Yahweh, if you hold no belief of a higher power, call it LOVE--get to it and stop hating those who have a little different opinion than you---there's room for all views!

If other peoples postings offend you, why do you try to offend them back with your obscene language and name-calling?
