What is the disorder called when a person won't bathe because they find comfort in their own filth and smells?

I am related by marriage to someone who does this. He smells like the inside of the chimp exibit at the zoo.

This is a serious question. I know that there is an actual medical term for it. Any answers?

It's called disgusting...I really have never heard of it being it's own disease or disorder. People who are depressed often fail to take showers and get ready for things. They like to be lazy and lay around.
