The kiddie pool is the best idea....Though I would get some empty milk jugs, fill 'em with water, and frezee them at night. They will keep the water cool and the dogs will lick the condensation off as a treat.

You don't state what kind of dogs you have... long hair .. short... medium. But in general make sure they have an abundance of fresh cool water.. if they are outside leave water in shady area. Also their is a new product.. or at least new to me that I just saw the other day on a dog at a Dog Expo. It is a wrap around Ice belt. You freeze it in your freezer then wrap it around the belly area, cold part on belly, works for about 2 hrs to 3 hrs.

I live in WA state too. Fortunately it's not too humid along with the heat, so they will probably do fine as long as they have plenty of shade, a breeze, and plenty of water. If there is room, give them a kiddy pool to play in, in the shade.

They need plenty of time indoors with the family.

If your dogs are to hairy, big or dirty to keep inside, make sure they always have fresh water. Make sure that they have shade and a shelter. My sister has a Siberian husky and he gets hot really easily. She has one of those hard plastic kiddie pools filled with water for him. When he gets hot, he will lay in it to cool off and then jump back out and play.

lots of water. Try to bring them inside with a fan beside them if you can to cool them down. If you have air conditioning, bring them in with you. When My doggie is hot I put an ice cube in her bowl on hot days she seems to like it.

Yea. Lots of water. Put ice cubes in it. They'll lick it up and slobber right back in it. It gets a little messy. Sometimes they play with the ice, that's funny stuff. Good luck.

hoping there in the shade, throw them some ice cubes to chew on, or if there in a dog house some people set up a fan to blow on them, or you can even get a kids plastic swimming pool if they like water to lie in.
