Think about those conversations you had with her about her childhood. Did she mention anything special she used to love or really miss right now? Maybe a favorite book or movie, or painting, or favorite cartoon character? Was there something that she only shared with you about her childhood and nobody else? If there was, buy something that reflects her memories so that when she sees your gift to her, she'll know that you remembered what she told you. She'll know that you really care about her and you listen to her and ultimately that you really love her.

You should get her a diamond wedding ring put it in the box then go have a nice romance dinner and then when she goes to the bathroom, get her a dessert big enough to put the box with the ring in it, in the dessert and tell her to be very very carefull when she eats the dessert not to hurt herself. Then when she finds the box pick it up and you know the rest.
You better treat her right.

The best thing you can give her is love. She has to be one with the feeling that you really love her. The rest is just cosmetic. Money can't buy love, remember? Give her anything she likes, as well as what your pocket permits. And be confident with whatever you choose to give her. Or perhaps, you could propose her on that day to give an extra meaning to her cherished day. All love must end in marriage (for average human beings), otherwise it can not be complete and meaningful.

I was going to say a wedding ring also. Unless you guys are still in college, for god sake get married and have kids. Don't wait til your in your 30's to have kids.

make her a loving card (girls love that, out of construction paper folded, markers and stickers tell her how much she means to you and decorate it yourself) and get her a gift card to her favorite place to go shopping i know people say that can be thoughtless but youve covered that already with the homemade card :) what do girls like to do best??? SHOPPING!!! trust me shell love it!
