It's possible, but mostly because of additives. They use extra lard/butter and sodium to preserve the pizzas. This isn't necessary in a pizza shop because they're using all fresh ingredients. Look at the ingredient list on the back of the box. It's a lot, huh?
Try making your own crust - it's very easy, and I believe everyone should invest in a bread machine. Or you could go with Boboli crusts, which also come in whole wheat. Better yet, use a whole wheat pita for your pizza with light tomato sauce, reduced fat chees, and pile on the veggies or lean meats. I'm hungry now...

No, really the ones you make at home would be a more healthier chose than the ones that you order, mainly because, the pizzas you order, are far more greasy and topped with more fattening ingredients. If you do chose to order your pizzas, woodfired pizzas would be a healtheir choose than maybe somewhere like Dominoes or Pizza Hut, but it really does come down to what you put on your pizzas. But if you want healthier pizzas made at home I would suggest using things like lite cheese instead of the orignal, and maybe a little bit less of the meat prouducts and a little bit more vegatables and salads. I hope I was a little bit of a help.

Well, depends on which brand you buy, where you buy it, and is it low fat. Like italian pizzas do have less oil, and fat. The more "American" pizzas are really fattening though, despite their great taste. The ones you oven could be home made...which is how you made them. The microwavable ones come in low fat and regular. Low fat is, well, low fat!

depends! A lot of pizza crust in restaurants are made with butter and grease...at home you could leave that stuff out of the crust. Or if you make your pizza on a pita pocket or bagel...that's a lot more healthy.

depends what is on them and how the crust is made, they are generally smaller and not as heavily loaded as restaraunt pizza's, so i would say they are not more fattening but generally more healthy.

I don't think so. All depends on qty. of cheese and thickness of dough used.
