I did a partition recovery and am installing Win XP from the recovery disk. It goes the thru the recovery, then reboot to finish up. I get all the way thru Software install and it freezes a few seconds after it gets to Intel Chipset. Hmmm. Thats almost 75% done im guessing. Anyone got a clue?? Thanks! Lemme know if ya need more info!

I already did the installation part that requires the disks. At the end of the first part i was asked to remove the disks and then it rebooted and went from there.

Try reformatting the partition (not a quick format) and then doing the installation. Early versions of XP do not recognize some hardware like large drives so if you have replaced your hard drive and are using an old version this may be a problem. Borrow a copy of XP and install it using the code from your certificate.
