I have Garbanzo beans, tahini, garlic and olive oil. I'd love to know the best combination to make hummus. Thanks!

Hummus

2 cups canned garbanzo beans, drained
1/3 cup tahini
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
2 cloves garlic, halved
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 pinch paprika
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley

Place the garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, salt and garlic in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.
Transfer mixture to a serving bowl.

Drizzle olive oil over the garbanzo bean mixture.
Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.

Mash your garbanzo beans, add the tahinini a tablespoon at a time till it's how you like it..add garlic and or onion to taste. You add the olive oil while mashing the garbanzo beans. You can also add cayenne pepper to it.

serenity and ichoose have it, but also roasted sesame seeds, puree'd, like a paste. you can find them at most health food stores, apple valley has them. i never made the paste myself, so can't help ya there, it comes in a little jar, it goes a long way and lemon zest, not just juice...and the garlic should be roasted, too. good luck, i love that stuff!!!!
