The best comparions I can make are Demi Moore and Melanie Griffifh.

I am asking because I have a very high, soft voice and people comment on it all the time. They say I sound like a cartoon character but a sexy one. Is that a compliment really?

One of the few questions I answer seriously: Voice can be a very sexy tool.

I would definitely say no to Rosie O'Donnell's voice or Greta van Sustren. Even if they were hot (which they are far from), the voice would be a turn off.

Soft feminine voice with a laugh to boot is tops in my book.

hmmm, that depends on the setting. If im flirting with a girl, the kitteny voice can be a good way to get my attention. My fiance talks like that when she's feeling flirty/playful, so I like it. On the other hand, If I'm engaged in conversation, I prefer a slightly more assertive voice, I wouldnt go as far as deep and throaty, but a slightly more... serious voice, is preferrable. If I have to choose between the throat and the kitten tho, Ill take the kitten any day.

A deep throaty voice is something like Angelina Jolie a soft kittenish voice is like a blond playboy playmate Pamela Anderson. So they can both work depending on your looks. If you're blonde the kitten voice will be fine, but if you're a curvy brunette you need a deeper voice.

For sexy I'm definitly more inclined toward deep, throaty voice. But moans are generally always sexy though.

Go with the compliment. I always have a soft spot for girls who sound a little "mousey" Can't think of a better way to describe it. I like the way you talk.

My man says the kittenish voice.. Depends on the guy.. does he like it rough and tough or soft and gentle? you have to know the guy.

actually it depends on the person himeself. For me, my girlfriend has a soft voice and I always hear it in my head when she isn't around me. She lives away from me so I have to get that voice in my head alot.

basically, it only depends on who your looking at.
