No they won't mate, but to say that Celtic supporters don't sing sectarian songs also, is a bare faced LIE

Without getting into name calling and resorting to childish behaviour...rangers actually did have a catholic signed. Can't think of the bloke's name off-hand and it was only in the last 20 or so years. The difference between Celtic and rangers is simple...Celtic supporters does not concentrate on hatred, rangers supporters do. For rangers to accept an invitation to play a match at Linfield just before the Orange Walk speaks volumes. In a word, it's disgraceful.

Do you really think a Catholic would WANT to be signed by Rangers?? And come off it, Celtic fans are just as sectarian. I seriously doubt the old songs will be dropped anytime soon, but Glasgow IS changing, slowly but surely.

Celtic never sing sectarian songs!!!!! Never read so much bollox in my life.
Rangers have signed catholics so thats more bollox. Celtic sign footballers thats more bollox. I cant deny Fans sang sectarian songs as they were found guilty of it. Rangers advising their players not to bless themselves obviously Arveladze wasnt listening so thats more bollox.
I think this is a case of selective memory here so I wont bother to mention Celtics participation in republican singsongs as proved by a video and the next time they are on TV I will close my ears to the so called 'folk songs'
The words kettle, pot and black come to mind so have a long think to yourself before you start slating Rangers.

As soon as say Hibs were to pump a couple of goals past them, the sewage that comes out of the grimy blue support is unmistakeable. Dundee United too, since they were called Dundee Hibernian. Purely because they are of Irish catholic decent. Celtic aren't innocent either, they consider every other scottish club to be protestant or establishment, so if they are getting beaten, the IRA venom starts. It would be a silent Rangers or Celtic end if they both stopped, due to an extreme lack of football songs!

Maybe thats jus because there are no good catholic players. we also just signed a catholic manager!!! that fair play award for Celtic was a joke. I believe when you recieved you still had Fat John and Sutton still playing for you. There are few more cheating players than Chris Sutton. And I think you'll find that both sides sing nasty songs. It's just because we got so far in the Champs League that people took notice. I'm sure you wouldnt have that problem.

That is the problem with scottish football in a nut shell, as long as rangers fans compare their behaviour with celtic fans and vice versa it will never get better. People should raise their standards to levels they want them to be, regardless of what other people are doing. If Rangers have 500 fans arrested Celtic seem to think they are winners if they only have 400 arrested. it's sad. things will not improve if that is the way you measure your success.

actually every team in the world sing sectarian songs but Celtic and Rangers have become notorious for it. Personally I don't see it as much of a problem because most people just see it as a bit of banter. Its a few individulas who have to take it past just singing and this is brought to attention by the media

Wish they bloody would. Although as an Aberdeen fan (insert sheepshagging joke here!) we haven't had much in the way of success since Fergie left, I thank myself lucky that there isn't a sectarian strain of support up here. I think there are huge majorities of non-bigoted fans on both sides, so it's a shame when the tub-thumping minority let either team down. Having said that, can't f*cking stand Rangers but not for sectarian reasons.

Celtic have improved their image over the last thirty years whereas Rangers have not. It has a lot to do with perception and Rangers have failed miserably to improve their image. Their biggest problem is having David Murray as chief honcho, the guy is really quite stupid and the supporters take the lead from him. Murray needs to take some PR lessons.
