I went to a movie today with this girl that I like and 2 of our friends. She ended up sitting next to me. Then, she leaned away from me, and I mean WAY far away. Partway through the movie she sat normally. I'm really confused about her feelings for me since she has done things such as asked me to dance at one of our high school dances and stuff like that. Should I take this as a negative sign and just move on, or what?

That was a very weird thing for her to do to someone that she seems to be interested in, and I mean that it seems she likes you since she asked you to dance? Okay, her signals are very confusing. I see why you are on here.
I'd just let it work it's way through. Show her you like her by leaning into her when she speaks and maybe touch her on the arm once in a while and see what happens. Let her know you are interested. She might come around, the way you want and send you more clear signals.

She is probably confused as well. Most of the time girls spend in realtionships, especially high school girls, is spent playing games. That's probably just her way of showing you that she wants you to give her more attention. Next time lean over towards her when she's far away, let her know that you wanna go the extra distance, if you like her.

You're thinking about this WAYYYYYYYY tooooo much. Just relax - don't worry about every little thing she does. Keep hanging out with her and be relaxed and fun and she'll probably give you a CLEAR sign of how she feels. If you're still confused after a couple weeks of just being cool and relaxed around her, ask her out.
