First of all what i am f%%^%ing saying is that asian people are stuck up stooges. I dont care about their religion etc becuase they don't have a better bond then any of the races. You call asians having good family bonds. African american kids have a social life at least with their parents. Chinese kids etc often have old parents compared to the other minorities. They are just stuck up and that way.White minorities also i see a stronger bond in the family. So asians have no excuses for their stuck upness. They are very pittyful people in that idea

I m Asian American, and agree with you...partially. The thing is, you don t really know enough about the culture to just type random thought about why you think we re stuck up. Not every Asian is part of the same TYPE of Asian first of all. So from what I ve observed, each Asian culture is "stuck up" or proud for various reasons. Sometimes, this also comes off as arrogance. The thing is, a lot of people display arrogance, not just Asians. Just like your people, sometimes you can get labeled wrong. Right? Asians do too. The thing about Asians is, sometimes they may ACT "stuck up" as a defense mechanism even if they aren t truly stuck up people. Like if your people ACT "RATCHET" when you really aren t. But maybe you have to ACT that way sometimes because you don t have an alternative default to prove you re better than your stereotype. Something to think about, yeah?

haha I'm Asian myself... well, Korean-American actually; I only spent like 2 months of my life in Asia. Well, it is true that there are a great many deal of Asians that are a little on the arrogant side. Perhaps it's the way they've been brought up; I think a lot of Asian parents hammer into the minds of their child the necessity to be the best.... If you saw Akeelah and the Bee, there was this Asian boy who kept getting 2nd in the national spelling bee, and his dad would always pressure him and yell at him to try harder, to study harder, to not settle for 2nd place. I think Asians, because of their upbringing, have this need to be the best. I don't know, but maybe because of all the pressure and the lack of encouragement, Asians try to make up for their insecurities by trying to prove to others that they're competent... I don't know, it's just my thoughts... Well, I don't blame you for thinking that there are a lot of stuck-up Asians; I personally know this terribly annoying boy who is Asian and can get really really insensitive at times. But remember, even though there are quite a number of pretty insensitive Asians, there are always exceptions...

I know this may sound weird, but any statement prefaced by "I'm not trying to be rascist (sic)" usually comes out sounding racist.. But then again, any question prefaced by "I know this may sound weird" usually comes out sounding weird. ;)
The reason why Asians are so stuck up comes down to one simple equation. A problem that affects us all but can only be solved by Asians. Math.
1+1, 1024x768, pi times the square root of the thirty-second digit in the fibonacci sequence... You know. Stupid, stupid, stupid questions that only Asians can answer but everyone seems to think that Asians owe it to the world to share this information whenever The Man needs help so they get all stuck up because deep down inside all they really wanna do is Feng Shui all nite at the crib and hook up with some Geisha girls, but The Man won't stop asking those damn math questions so they get really pissed as fach because they can't get none cause they're too busy doing math. So the next time an Asian guy blurts out the word "sudoku" he really means "shut up and just leave me alone!" ;)

Well, it would be hard to imagine anyone NOT being stuck-up anywhere within a 10 meter radius of your whereabouts. That, and Asians have had a superior civilization and culture for >5000 years, and they shouldn t have to deal with lesser beings.

It is just the upbringing. Asians who had immigrated here tried to maintain the same environment for their children too. Moreover, just like you think asians are stuck up, most asians believe americans don't respect other cultures and are egotistical and hence are not very trustful of them. So, they don't want their kids to follow the american way, which makes foreigners think asians are stuck up.

Asians think they are smart, but all they know is repetition. They lack innovation. What has China invented in the last 50 years? Can anyone name anything except a disease?

I dont think they are stuck up, its the way they are brought up-a different way of culture is taught how to "respect" one another. Its different between the US and Germany and Italy also. If it were up to them we would be considered stuck up
