Lol!
" When Jesus says love your neighbour...?
Is that not encouraging us to become bi-sexual. "
NO!
But thanks for asking!
" If I am suppossed to love other men is that not a bit gay? "
The way you mean it, it does!

There are many connotations of LOVE and love in a sexual way was not the intent of what Jesus said... It was meant to love as a person.
This is all well and good but i have neighbors that I would have a very very difficult time eventalking to let alone loving in a respectful way.

In Jesus’ representation of the merciful Samaritan he made it emphatic that even although one is residing at a distance, or isn't a relative or an affiliate, the real neighbor is the only which will workout the affection and kindness to a special.

Use your head! Jeez. The term love, in the way the original Hebrew scriptures were written, had nothing to do with physical sex, or even romantic love; the fact we use the sameword for it all is jus a coincedence, plain and simple.

Again, "agape", the NT Greek word for "love" is NOT a feeling of warm, mushy sentimentality. It's "tough love", and it means doing what is good and right for the other person, no matter what. See the link for more details:

Love here is not the Greek word "erros" which means erotic love or sexual intimacy. Ignorance is not an excuse for asking a stupid question like that.

Think about what you do or do not do when you love some one!
Love means you do not steal from them, or lie, cheat, deceive, or abuse them. You look out for their welfare, you do not wage war,
or try to covet anything of someone Else's. If they are in need, you share what you have with them.
We all know what love is about as it relates to everyone of us.
It has nothing to do with sexuality.

So often,phrases/passages from the Bible, are taken out of context,& so it is in this case.Jesus said;Love thy neighbor,as thyself.Years ago,a comedian, who, often, made fun of Christianity,The Bible, etc.,would say;"love your enemies,'n drive 'em crazy",& yes, that's funny. The Bible says that we may blaspheme God,or Jesus, but, not The Holy Spirit.May you see yourself as the sinner you are,& accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviour. And,have a good life,it ends very quickly.

you're contridicting & turning around the bible.
jesus says to love thy neighbor as yourself.
love your enemies, love others as christ loves them.
no, it's not meaning to turn gay.
not in that kind of love. to sexually get involved with your neighbor.
u have taken this way out of context.
u should read the bible.
you need jesus....
we should be more like christ, christ-like....
love the sinner, but hate the sin.
god commands us to love each & one another unconditionally as christ loves us.
he loves us all equal

Cant remember Christ ever saying "have sexual intercourse with your male neighbor".. you can love someone without having sex or being sexually attracted to that person.. I love my daughter in a purely platonic, motherly way.
