high protein, high carbs!!! meat, nuts, noodles, rice, bread, potatoes, and you need your dairy always for strong bones and teeth!!! and never forget fresh vegies and fruit!! maybe have high carb snacks like toast with peanut butter, you could even mix a little honey in the peanut butter or karo syrup and dip apples, pretzels, graham crackers, carrots...anything that sounds good in it. gnc and other health food stores sell snack bars and drink mix for gaining weight. good luck!!!

If you want to gain weight without eating every waking second try this.....go to your local vitaman store and find a vanilla weight gaining powder. The higher the better. I will tell you they taste like crap so here is what you do. Take a scoop or 2 of the powder and blend it with different things to make a high calorie shake that you drink once or twice a day. If you like chocolate drinks blend in a cup and a half of cho. ice cream...couple of spoonfulls of peanut butter...half a cup of milk...some honey and blend. you will have a 16 - 20 ounce drink that taste good and will be about 3000 calories. Or you can try different fruits and ice cream. If you like this answer and want more recipes let me know. I have tons of them I have develped over the years. Your lucky, most people would kill to have your problem..lol.

Weightlifting.
Find something heavy to lift.
Lift and HOLD it for 1 minute.
While lifting, keep your joints bent; elbows, knees, lower back.
This makes the muscles hold the weight, not the bones.
Do this exercise every OTHER day.
The muscles grow stronger when they are resting,
not during the exercise.
This will make you gain muscle weight, NOT muscle mass.

I hate you by the way, but if you have trouble gaining weight, you might want to try the protein powders used by bodybuilders. They work.

Enjoy it while it lasts, as for it is better than having to watch everything you eat so you don't look like a whale.
