Sounds like he's running away from his responsibilities... Try getting a babysitter once in a while so you two have time for just each other. Good luck.

you both are still very young. why not let someone watch the child while you go out now and then together alone. you both made a very adult decision by having the baby he needs to wake up and take responsibilty but no need to give up your life as a couple. take time together go do something just the two of you.

Well, that happens when a child is born out of wedlock. A boyfriend-girlfriend relationship does not have the same finality as marriage does. There is no official committment or maritial vows. Unfortunatley, there are many "dead beat" dads because of this situation.

That's what happens when you have a baby at 19... But try talking to him and let him know how you feel. If you tell him rather than us, hopefully he can help you more. Good luck!

It happens sometimes. he wasn't as ready as you thought to have a child. give it some time, and make time for you two to talk or have dinner alone. remember patience is key to making things work. also try to keep him involved with descions and things happening with the baby. He might feel left out.

You don't need me to tell you having the baby happened at the wrong time.

He may be telling you the truth, I dunno. Becoming a parent it a life changing moment. Don't read more into it unless you have evidence of something else going on other than what he is telling you.
