Is it possible to get high...?

Okay, its so odd but if my boyfriend [of 3 years] and I hug or even kiss ever so slightly I get this euphoric feeling.. like I'm floating and I've never been happier. Its so odd. Like yesterday, we were in his room just sitting togther on his bed and talking and he leaned over and kissed me and my mind went completely blank.. I felt like a million and five diffrent emotions at once and it was completely blissful. We talked about if he sometimes gets that feeling too and he said yeah. And I asked another friend of mine and he told me that it was a "level of love he didn't know existed".

I do very much love my boyfriend in a way that many people can't understand..

But is it possible to get "high" (if thats the right term) from just his scent, his hugs, his kissess?

and by the way, for those of you who wanted to knowmy age, I'm 16, as is he.

and yeah, I do love him. More than anything in the world. [and if you bash me for it.. thats your loss for not knowing what real love is.]

What you are experiencing is rare...enjoy it! Many people get warm fuzzies around their partner, but this guy is literally knocking your sox off! *smiles* It's definitely a chemical reaction that's going on in your body, but explaining it would make it sound too sterile...enjoy the feeling...the relationship "high"...

doctors have proven that that feeling of love that someone gets just from even just looking at a picture, and thinking of, the person they love is very close to the reaction gotten by the insane.

It's a type of euphoria, a chemical reaction in the brain. So, enjoy. A free, natural, high.

Yes it is possible to get high kissing your boyfriend, its possible to get high from drinking water, walking, hell even sitting here typing. The sensation of high is from one of two things external stimuli (physical activity, drugs), or emotional/hormonal states. All of which cause a change in brain chemistry. That being said the fact that you really like this guy causes these feelings of euphoria, and the euphoria will reinforce your attraction to him, it’s a good thing but will make the “withdrawals” of a breakup worse, just remember your young and we all wish you well.

yes girl. and not many people are lucky enough to find someone to make them feel that way. i've been with my fiancee for over a year and I still feel that way when he just gets close to me!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!
