Breathe in as slowly as you can as deeeeep as you can (and then deeper), then hold it for about 5 second and then slooowwwllly let it out and push the air out as much as you can. You're going to feel like you want to gasp for air, but this works because it relaxes your spastic diaphragm (the cause of your hiccups).

Have someone (coworker, friend, etc.) promise you something (a dollar, a cookie...basically something you want) if you hiccup just ONE more time. You will consciously be thinking about it, and will not be able to do it! I have the loudest hiccups ever, and a former boss did that trick on me (it was a cookie)...it worked!

If it is yourself who have the hi-cups, try drinking water, hold your breath for as long as you can, and if you are into yoga do the lion position. If it is some one else who has the hi cups. Try scaring them, for example you might say to someone: Do not move, you have a spider on your shoulder. Having a very high emotion and or a excited moment will do it for you or somebody else. try it...

hold your breath as long as you can or drink water ...when my daughter has the huccups (3 mos), I give her milk or water from her bottle.
I am sure it will work for you, minus the bottle.
