When I got married last year for the second time I gave my sons family medallions

The Family Medallion is a symbol of family unity and love. Such a symbol is needed in a world where commitment to others is often devalued and where family relationships that bring meaning and continuity to life, especially those involving children, rarely receive the respect they deserve.

my sons love them and feel that they are married to the new family

Together with the Family Medallion there is a recitation that the preacher etc can read during the ceremony. My sister did this for her son at her wedding last year, it was very moving and made her son, who was very unsure of the whole thing, feel like a real part of the day.

Why would you want to give them gifts, it's your day. Well if you are going to do it one way or another might as well be something expensive or something thoughtful, your choice, A CAR or a picture of you and them when they were babies in a really nice frame or something of that sort.
