I am going to be a bridesmaid for my brother's wedding and I am soooooooo hugely debating how I am going to wear my hair. The bride has chosen the dresses,

I like a hairstyle like this,

But I don't know what is customary for a bridesmaid hairstyle, or even if I am on the right track. I could really use some advice and help on this subject. I just want to be the best bridesmaid that I can be for my brother and his future wife. Thanks!!

I am a brunette, about 5'5, and have hair that just extends past my shoulders.

The only rule is that you don't want to be more elaborate than the bride. The style you have chosen looks very nice but the appropriate thing to do is ask the bride for her opinion.

That's a pretty hairstyle, but maybe an updo would be more traditional. Like this:

It would go well with the dress, and maybe you could have a few flowers added to make it more elegant. That's just my opinion, though. The hairstyle you've chosen is beautiful, too.

I love that look too! However you should ask the bride what she wants you to do for your hair just in case. I would recommend putting your hair up because it is easier to walk down the aisle without feeling like you need to redo your hair.

I've been a bridesmaid four times and a maid of honor twice. I usually have worn my hair up like these pics:

That is a beautiful style! When I got married, I let the bridesmaids choose their hairstyle, but also gave them flowers to wear in their hair, in whichever way they wanted.

GO WITH THE HAIRSTYLE YOU LIKE, THAT WILL LOOK GREAT. PLUS THERE ISN'T ANY CUSTOMARY HAIRSTYLE FOR A BRIDESMAID THAT I'M AWARE OF. I WOULD CHECK WITH THE BRIDE FIRST THOUGH, YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE THE SAME HAIRSTYLE AS THE BRIDE. GOOD LUCK.

I think that is a pretty hairstyle. Or you could do an updo...either way, I'm sure it'll look nice with your dress. good luck!

I LOVE THAT HAIR AT THAT WEBSITE! You should TOTALLY have your hair done that way. Another good one is a simple bun. My best wishes to the bride!

is your hair shoudler lenght? Try pinning your bangs back and curling your hair in semi-loose spiral curls. Keep it sophisticated, but simple.
