That is just the beginning.He hit you once he;ll do it again.Or maybe he has been hitting you all along and you ignored it.I love you baby,i won't hit you anymore.Sound about right?No matter what you may have said or did to him,he has no right to hit you,and then he probably blames it on you for it all.None of this is your fault.You didn't put his hand up to your face or where ever he hit you and swing it for him.No he has issues that you can't fix by forgiving him and letting him come around so that he can do it again.Now please don't' say but i love him,Do you love him more than you care about yourself?That should be easy to answer,but if your mind is so cloudy that you can't see what he is doing,it's gonna get worse.Please get out,i don't know you personally,but i do know that a boy or a so called man should not hit a girl or woman no matter what.I'm sorry your going threw this but you need to do something about it,by getting out of that relationship and don't look back.Ask yourself this,am i a punching bag,do i deserve to be hit on,Is my life more important or is he?I'm sure you know the answer to this.Do what ever it takes other than killing him to get yourself out.

I wouldnt be calling him my boyfriend. I would be calling him my ex. Nobody deserves to be hit. Old saying is.. if they hit once they will do it again. I divorced for that very reason. So get out of this "so called" relationship before you get hurt again.

BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF HIM! I would and have stood up for myself. This guy thought that I wasn't going to do that. I had an abusive childhood and also when i was in foster care, that just all built up inside of me. My boyfriend/husband thought he was going to try to hurt me until I went psycho on him. He hasn't tried to touch me in a violent way since. It has been over 2 years.

Oh man, I got angry just reading that! I've had it happen before.... I didn't even think about it. I smacked the crap out of him and kicked him in an unfortunate place for him. To answer your question, my boyfriend would not hit me. Those two don't go together. A person who hits you is NOT a boyfriend. He is a batterer and incapable of rational behavior if he thinks hitting is appropriate.
