I officially hate NeO Anderson, BTW.
Alas, thats a really sweet and thoughtful gift on your boyfriends part!
To start out your going to need to:
Get them started on their shots,
Buy flea collars,
Buy collars with tags that have your information on them
(or you can go the new route and get chips implanted in them- but I wouldnt reccomend it because if you move its hard to remember to update the information!)
Buy kitten food (its better for them and helps their immune system)
Always have water for them.
Buy a litter box and try to buy the least dusty kitty litter possible. (I use Worlds Best Cat Litter [ http://www.worldsbestcatlitter.com/ ]
Buy a small scratching post and a few small toys (or you can just take a shoe-string out of an old shoe and they'll play with that.)
Good luck with the kittens!

Go to a pet store like Petsmart or Petco. Pick up some good quality catfood, it doesnt have to be the most expensive but the cheapest wont do either. Also get a small shallow litter box for them to use, If you cant find one a disposible alluminum pan will work for the time being while they are so small they cant crawl in a big one. A few toys, kittens like those little feather dusters and also the little plastic balls with the bells in them. 2 collars also with small bells on them so that if they are hiding some where you will hear them. One water a nd one food bowl for them to share. A cat bed (dog bed will also work). Thats about it i guess. Take them to the vets within a week or so to get their first check up, this will be about 50 bucks or something, you can schedule a time with them to get the kittens spayed/neutered and to get their shots finished up. Good luck.

Your going to need a small litter box with none clummping litter (the kittens might want to eat the litter and cluping litter can kill them.) Dry kitten food, moistend with water or a kitten milk replacement supplement...and some toys. I know this because me and my boyfriend just got a kitten a while back and this is what we were told

since they are about 7 weeks old...you should get the canned kitten food...any brand will do, just make sure it's kitten not adult since the kitten food has essential vitamins that they need...you should probably start finding a vet to give them their first set of baby shots...they need 2 sets it think and get them tested/treated for worms...if he got them from a humane society it's likely that they have already done the shots and they are a little young to be fixed. you will need bowls, toys, kitty litter and litter box, a scratching post or something besides your furniture to scratch on. (mine like the catnip filled cardboard box things that you can get a walmart or a pet store)...that's pretty much it for now....remember, kittens are very curious and will check out just about anything so if there are things in your house that you don't want them in they either need to be moved or the kittens need to be taught not to mess with them. also, unless you absolutely do not want them to sleep with you, they don't really need their own bed....but that's my opinion...mine sleep on my head most of the time!

Ok here is what you need
1. A litter box
2. Cat Litter for multiple cats
3. Canned cat food
4. Kitten dry cat food (mix with the canned cat food)
5. Cat toys (they love toys)
6. Cat treats (to spoil them)
7. Fruit Punch Gatorade (it is good to give them that to post up their immune system since they are probably just weaned from their mother and it helps keep them a bit healthy as they adjust to being away from their mother)
8. Bowls for food and water
9. Some milk (good for a treat and also as another source of nutrition since they are away from their mother)
10. A place to sleep (usually some old blankets in a box is good)
11. You! Spend time with them and play with them. They want the attention and you need to spend time with them in order to make them more people friendly. Plus this is the time when they bond, so if you want them to like you, you've gotta be out there playing and petting them!

Lots of love is the number one thing. Think of them as two year old children: they need constant attention and supervision. You need to litter box train them. If you have another cat that uses the litte box they will learn from him, otherwise you just have to show them their litter box several times (don't move it or they can't find it). You also need kitten food because it has stuff that young cats need for healthy development. Other than that, make sure they are clean, healthful cats and always love them. You have been blessed with the gift of a living thing, take care of it wisely. Good luck and best wishes to you and your kitties!!!

Science Diet Kitten Formula is the best food you can get them. It helps with brain development which is precious at that age and it helps with a variety of other developmental things. 2 small litter boxes (one for each), clumping cat litter is the EASIEST to use, dishes(one for water and one for food for each of them), TOYS!!!, pet beds(one for each) so they can be comfy and their own area to be confined in when you are not home or when you are sleeping. One is a handful in itself but with two your going to go crazy for the next couple of months. They get into everything so keep a watchful eye on them. The perfect way to bond with your kittens is to sit with them while they eat, there mom, obviously, was at every feeding with them and this will help imitate that. Kittens for Dummies is a really helpful book for new cat owners, Wal-Mart sells this for $3.

Kitten food, water, water and food bowls, litter pan and litter and scooper, toys, and maybe a cat bed. They are going to be scratching the heck out of your upholstered furniture, but I don't know if they are too young for a scratching post. They are a lot of fun, but be careful stepping because they will be under foot all the time. Have fun. Take them to the vet real soon. and don't forget out spay and neutering.

Take them to the vet so they both can get checked out and made sure the lil babies are healthy. but mostly you need a litter box and keep it in the same spot so they can get used to it. and they will need a food dish and water dish. and of course toys and LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of love =)
