I had a gray and white kitten named Max he was the most loyal pet i have ever saw. i just called him once and he came running. always sat on my lap. Very playful too. I think it will be a good name.

My 3 male cats are named Sebastian, Casey and Kincaid. Ashton is also a good name for a gray cat. I've always named my cats people names. I hate names like Fluffy and Mittens. They're so uncreative.

Salvadore. I like to give my pets human names.

I had a gray cat and I named him Zonker after the Doonesbury character, but that was a long time ago and he ran away.

Now I have a fuzzy grey female with brown eyes and I named her Carmen. She comes to that name and is very affectionate.

Anything you name him will be good. Observe him for a while and once you see his personality it will be easier. The name should be unique to you and your cat, it will help with the bonding of your relationship.

I once got a cat from the shelter the same weekend as the Superbowl. My ex was a huge football fan. I ended up naming my cat Half-time. It suited him well.

I liked the suggestion of Tucker.
How about Hunter? (That's my male kitten's name)
Also here are some male names from operas:
Radames, Faust, Othello, Figaro, Nadir, Don Carlos
Other male names: Carter, Rory, Seamus (sounds like Shamus), Billy, Gilligan

I had a solid grey(no stripes) cat named phantom. The name was perfect because his color was very hard to see in a low light conditions. he was an outdoor cat and when he crossed the street in front of my house at night, you could see his shadow on the ground but not him.

Timm Katt. Most wonderful cat in the world. He's 16 this month. Was five weeks old when I took him to my first apartment.
