hey hun.....boy have we been there before....we love our kids but not the havoc they reek on our bodies...you know i told my twin sis before she had her baby that you will feel so slim after you have her but what ever you do don't look in the mirror! lol....but back to the point i have found that squats help (there are a few sites you can look up some of these exercises...one of my faves is www.oxygenmag.com) and rear leg raises are really great...take and stand with feet a few inches apart and take and tilt forward at the waist...(you might need a chair or couch arm for balance) and raise one leg up in the air..then take that leg and raise it up a few inches and let it back down tourge the floor but don't let it drop! take and raise your leg up and down for a about two ten counts (or twenty time)..unless thats not enough and go for as many as you can.....also if your just layin' around in the bed (and i know this sounds dumb) just take and crunch your butt cheeks together and hold for a count of 3...hope these help...love daisy

Get some pilates dvds. You can get a matt and do the exercises at home and still watch your baby and it's so much cheaper then a gym. It keeps dancers and all kinds of atheletes in shape. And there are specic workouts for the butt and other areas of the body.

I'm sure you butt looks just fine, but a little exercise never hurts. Lunges, squats, bent leg deadlifs, stiff leg deadlifts, using a stepper, walking the steps, and hill walking are all excellent ways to firm the butt and get into shape. Good luck.

Ugh. I hate answers like "IDK". I reported her, BTW.

Since you have a child I'm going to assume that she is fairly young and it is going to be difficult to work out for long periods of time or something like that, correct?

Well, just do little things like glute squeezes.
[When your sitting down, slowly squeeze your buttox together and then apart] This will help shape the muscles in your buttox and help burn the fat off.

Also, you could walk up stairs or invest in a stair master, with the proper diet and amout of excercise, they do work.

Try an exersize ball, bounce on one or roll on your back on one. It reduced and reshaped my oversized buttox.

get one of the exercise tapes to firm up your buns. They will teach you to target the area of your body you want to work on.
