If you don't want to continue the cycle of wanton dishonesty , lower the price & be up-front & advertise that the car needs work . What goes around comes around and you don't want to be scamming some poor soul worse off than you are .Take the original owner to small claims .

If it's in that bad a shape, there might be a legal bar to selling it, especially without full disclosure. Your only recourse is through the seller, but your chances aren't that good there.

You can sell it as is. You, as a private seller, are not required to disclose defects, unless they make the car unsafe to drive. (if the brakes do not work and you let someone drive thinking they do, you may have legal liability.
If it were me I would sell it through a public auto auction, as is!

well, it depends which is the lemon part...if i had a body to another car and ur car had a nice engine i would buy it and vice versa...so look for people who are like car fixer-uppers:) good luck!
