ok the other week i was having a discussion with a friend and we got on the subject of the tribulation. we came to a disagreement however on a minor detail and i was just looking for others opinions on the subject. she seemed to think that those who heard the gospel and rejected Jesus before the tribulation would not have another chance to accept Jesus after the rapture, but i was under the impression that after the church was taken out all would have another chance. if you know anything about the subject or have any scripture that would be helpful please let me know. i just want to study deeper into the subject then if someone ever asks me again i will have a correct answer for them. thanks!

First in 1 thessalonians chapter 1 verse 9 and 10 say for they them selves report
what kind of reception you gave us. They tell how you turned from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven whom he raised from the dead__ Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath. Also in the book of Revelations we are told that those that rejected the Antichrist and the number of the beast were killed and it also states that alot of people that was going through the tribulation asked God to save them and became Christians and alot were killed. also please read revelations chapter 19 verses 11 through 21 and this tells you of him coming with his saints and about those that were maytered for his names sake. yes people will be saved during the tribulation but they will still have to go through it and suffer the consuqences of not asking Jesus into there lives before the tribulation and alot like i said will be killed and will starve ,, for it says that those that do not recieve the mark of the beast in there right hand or forehead they will not be able to buy or sell lest they have the mark of the beast, A loaf of bread will cost a days wages so yea they will be saved through Christ but will die or starve but those that take the mark of the beast will never be saved. my e mail is myblueeyes422000@yahoo.com if you would like to talk more. ty.

Rapture is not even in the bible. Are you aware of that? Satan wants you to believe you have another chance when Jesus comes to get His people but it is a lie. When Jesus comes, it will be the end to those that are living at that time. They will be destroyed with the brightness of His coming. Many will tell you it is a secret thing but if you look at Revelation 1:7, it says that every eye shall see Him, that He will come with a shout and the trumpet of God. Does not sound like anything secret to me or that some will live and some will be alive when it is all done with and no knowledge of the coming. Revelation 20 states people will beg the rocks to fall on them to hide them from the face of the Lamb. Does this sound like what you have been taught? There is nothing in the bible that says we will have a second chance. It is a trap of Satan to get you to be so lax that you think you have anohter chance so he can get you. If you really want to know the truth as it is in the bible, go to the site below and do the studies. You will learn a lot that you never knew before and when you finish them you will be able to tell others what God says will happen, not what man or satan says.

It is to my understanding that The Holy Spirit will leave the Earth after the rapture. Therefore the question arises about salvation after the rapture. The Holy Spirit is a part of The Trinity Father, Son and Holy Goast. The Father (God) is ominy present so is The Spirit. After the rapture The Holy Spirit will still be present for those who will except Christ as Savior. The problem for them however is experiencing the wrath of God during The Tribulation, the consequence for not being saved before Christ return.

I would Suggest reading Revelations. Yes you can be saved after the rapture. you have to go through the tribulation without accepting the mark of the beast which is a 666 on the right hand or the forehead. anyone who does not do that and rejects the Antichrist as god will go to heaven after the battle of Armageddon.

How can we presume to know what Jesus and ultimately God really has in mind?

People think they can translate Revelations so that it is comprehensible to us, but can we as mere humans do so?

If C.S. Lewis believed that those who had never studied the new and old testaments but had followed the truth of their hearts all their lives will be invited in by Christ, then who are we to doubt or question Christ?

Study C.S. Lewis and others of the last century, follow the truth of your heart and remember that the devil's strongest weapon is the doubt and discord that he sows so well.

If we could stop judging and accept each other with all our different rainbows then we would have an easier time living with our neighbour.

There is no correct answer unless God divinely reveals it to you and if He does, then you will not need to argue or correct another because you will have His peace.

'@"i'm perplexed as to how salvation can ensue in the course of the tribulation even as the Holy Spirit no longer dwells on earth after the rapture of the church. Can absolutely everyone help me understand this? " there is your 'problem." Your pastor's 'message.' there is not any-rapture. that's referred to as [stuck-up]...keep it actual. I Thessalonians 4:17. This 'stuck-up' do not ensue by employing the Lord till AFTER THE TRIBULATION. Matthew 24: [29]-[31]. back....Mark 13:[24]-[27]. regardless of the indisputable fact that, see the total image..Luke 21: 5-28. in case you imagine this isn't part of it: there is no longer something else to say. What The Lord is conversing in Luke, has no longer ensue yet. that is destiny. Paul isn't incorrect; human beings misunderstood his letters. 2 Peter 3:15-17. They took his letters extra" RAPTURE" and ran with it...made it sound like they're 'flying out of right here in the previous 'tribulation ensue." The Lord suggested, That 'pretend doctrine is likewise the signal of the accurate...[confusion]. Do you've faith Paul or the guy who's drawing close THAT DAY? all of us bypass by potential of the [tribulation, the conflict, the strive against!] Believers receives by potential of it...."because God will give up it early." what number remember now to not adjust GOD'S words. IT alterations THE meaning. How about making their 'salvation efficient even as it remains day, extremely of waiting till the awesome minute. Who 'hates their existence' that a lot?

Revelation 7:9
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

These are those that are sincere religeous people who have not rejected the true gospel of salvation of faith in Jesus Christ.
...that and the 144,000 Jews listed in verses 5 - 8.

However those who willfully reject the true gospel or who are athiests will be deceived.
2nd Timothy 2:7-12
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Thats a very good question, and actualy a topic of heated debate among many christians. It really depends on your beliefs and interpertations of those beliefs. some ppl believe that you will, as you said have time to repent. ex. the movie left behind. Others believe once its over, its over, like your frined.

I don't think we will ever know for sure. But one thing I do know, even if we do have a chance to repent, you can't just put it off till then. You can't sin now, then just wait for the rapture. That is one truth many don't argue with.

If you do not accept Jesus as your Savior before the rapture, its to late....

You will not have another chance, your name must be written in the book of life either before you die or before the rapture.

Rev 20;12-15 tell you that the dead, meaning unsaved, will be judged on their works, and shown that they did not receive eternal life through faith. Those people will experience the 2nd death or eternal separation from God. This is the eternal punishment-hell or lake of fire.

You are correct.Everybody that has heard the Good News that Joh 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Will Be Dammed.

2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
When God is dealing with you and offering you salvation it is not
guaranteed that God will come again with His free Gift and you had better choose to run to Jesus in faith before it is to late.
In Christ in Love,
