I'm from Massachusetts. A Whoopie Pie is 2 round (3-4") Chocolate cakes, flat on bottom. Put whipped creme on one flat part, cover with the other cake, eat, enjoy, and go for seconds. It is actually a chocolate creme sandwich. You probably can get the receipe, but if not, ask for it and I'll answer you request. Very popular in New England. (Might be called something else in other parts of the country.

I don't know if they sell them in the US, but in Canada, we have something similar called a Joe Louis. It's just like a Whoopie Pie

Yes, it's a...thing consisting of two chocolate cakey discs filled with a creamy white filling. I'm a california native but I have spent time in the PA area and that is where I learned about them. Had I never traveled I would have no idea what it was.

From Connecticut, had no clue what they were...never had one. I thought they probably were a scooter pie/moon pie and had to look them up. Must taste like a Devil Dog.
