What do brides want for bridal jewelry, pearls, crystals, a combination of both? What did everyone wear to their wedding??

These are the pieces that I wore for my wedding. Most are family heirlooms. I used them for my wedding traditions. They are very dear to me. My advice is to wear pieces you love, whether they be from family or friends.

2. 14KT WG 1CT Diamond Engagement Ring Set: Family Heirloom, of my Gramma.
3. 18KT White Gold Diamond Earrings: Engagement Present, from my Husband.
4. 14KT WG Locket: The very first piece of jewelry my Husband ever gave me.
5. 14KT WG Diamond Hamilton Watch: Something Borrowed, from my Momma.
6. 18KT WG Diamond Bracelet: Something Old, from my Gramma.
7. 14KT WG Diamond Ankle Bracelet: Something New, Wedding Present from my Husband.
8. 14KT WG Blue Topaz & Diamond Toe Ring: Something Blue.

Bridal jewelry can't be chosen until the gown is picked. The jewelry has to complement the dress. I prefer crystals with color in them. I don't like pearls at all. I wore burgundy crystals with a white gown to my wedding and aurora crystals with a burgundy gown when I renewed my wedding vows 11 years later.

I'm using a combination of pearls and diamonds (crystals) because that is what is on my dress. I am getting my girls rubys and pearls since my colors are red and white. It is totally a personal preference though. Surf the web a bit and see what you like. eBay is also a great resource. Good luck!

My hubby bought me a silver and diamond necklace for our wedding day and I wore that. I'm not much into jewelry so besides my engagement ring, that is all I had on! I believe a bride should look elegant and classy on her day - just keep it simple.

I would like a crystal Tearier for my wedding. I would look so beautiful and peaceful. I will pass it on to my family for generations.

Have your jewelry accent your dress.
I'm probably going to wear pearls or white gold/silver small diamonds, depending on the dress/season.
