ABSOLUTELY NOT. No one is. It is by GOD'S grace that we are redeemeed and able to enter into GOD'S kingdom. Maybe this will explain why we as Christians praise GOD. HE DIED FOR US ALL! That's pretty awesome don't you think? We are not worthy of God's love but yet, he gives it anyway. ISN'T THAT GREAT! Spread the good news! GOD BLESS YOU IN YOUR PURSUIT OF FAITH!

My answer is long, but if you are really interested in whether you are going to Heaven or not then you will take the time to read it.

You reference the 10 commandments, but you don't gain salvation by obeying them. If you did, then the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ would have been for nothing. The 10 commandments exist to show us how sinful we are and therefor enable us to repent.

The Bible states that there can be no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood. Therefor, ritualistic sacrifices were instituted in the Old Testiment to allow people to ask for forgiveness, but the unfortunate cycle, repeating itself was: people got tired and lazy of sacrifices and upholding the 10 commandments and were seduced and lured away by other religions and false gods; God finally punished them for their sins; they repented and was forgiven by God. Due to the repitition of this cycle, God decided to proceed with the perfect sacrifice (one that could never again be matched), His Son. By sacrificing His Son, our sins (past, present and future) are always forgiven. All we have to do is ask and truly repent.

By truly accepting Jesus Christ into your life, as your Messiah, believing that he died on the cross for your sins, rose out of the dead and ascended to Heaven sitting at God's right hand, you will through the Holy Spirit automatically bare fruit (baring fruit = spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, living a good and honest life and truly love God as well as your neighbour). The Holy Spirit imprints God's law on your heart and gives you the strenght to follow it. Remember that the Bible states that any branch that does not bare fruit will be disgarded and burned in the fire. You are not saved by your actions (the fundamental that seperates Christianity from any other religion), but by the grace, mercy and love of Holy Trinity, God.

NOBODY IS GOOD ENOUGH TO GO TO HEAVEN.
That is why Jesus came and became perfection for us so we could get to go. That is why we say that a ransom was paid on our behalf. He became our perfection, exceptable in the eyes of the Father. All of this started in the Garden of Eden when Adam and Eve were covered with the skins of slain animals. Innocent dying for the guilty.http://www.carm.org/doctrine/100truths.htm

Heaven is the residing place of God and his angels. God has sellected 144,000 faithful and discreet slaves to serve in heaven as associate kings and priests with Jesus Christ. All other faithful followers of Jesus who exercise faith in Christ Jesus' ransom sacrifice and do the will of God have a hope of everlasting life on a restored paradise earth as God intended in the beginning. Not one word out of God's mouth will return to him without results. God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and fill the earth and subdue it and have everything in subjection and to spread their garden paradise over all the earth. A very delightful work to do.Death would only happen if they disobeyed God, meaning, if they had not disobeyed God they would still be alive on a paradise earth with all their righteous offspring today.

Heaven in the traditional sense doesn't exist. You make your own heaven (and hell for that matter.) Look at the Bardo Thodol for example...
If you think, feel and act in ways that benefit you and others, you are already in heaven!
Since no one knows what happens after you die, it doesn't really matter anyways...do good here, without expectation of a reward, and you can create that heaven.
And please, don't try to convert me, it won't work.

None of us are good enough to go to Heaven. It is only because Jesus died for us that we even have a chance at it and that is only though His blood for us.

I am to lazy to type in your link (should've hyperlinked) so let me say this-YES. Every one who accepts Jesus as the Savior is good enough to go to heaven. No one is perfect, and no one is sinless. Jesus died for our sins and when we accept this we accept his forgiveness. If not then you have to be God-like, which is an impossible task for humans.

The way I understand it none of us are good enough to go to heaven. I don't know why they don't close for lack of business.
