It's normal for teens to need more sleep at certain times - you get plenty of exercise so your body needs to rebuild muscle tissue .
Oh, yes, some people will always require 9 hours or more;
we are called long-sleepers; our sleep cycles are slower than others, so we take more time to get thru each cycle. But we need the same number of cycles (or perhaps an extra one, as well).
I've always been a long-sleeper & I didn't know that it was normal until I read about it in a Psychology book.

It's summer, you need to lay off the Internet and get out of the house! Go swimming, ride a bike or exercise in some other form.
When I was 15, which wasn't that long ago, I was outdoors all the time.

You are a teenager....it is probably natural but you should have your parents take you to the doctor to be safe. You could be enemic or have sleep apnea.

Talk with your parents about it.
