This question has been asked a thousand times. If your talking about a woman's tootise pop you will have to discover that for yourself, b/c that's a secret. An actual tootise pop NEVER counted....the world may never know....try asking the owl. (Couldn't resist)

You know I was gunna try that about 50 times but i got so impatient I got pissed n ate it whole after a few licks. But now that i've grown ill try it. If I really do build the patience ill tell you. I'm guessing about 1500 licks minimum.

I have tried and tried but I just can't do it ....without biting it ! But I think there are variables like the size of the toungue and the speed of licking and the amount of saliva and the temperature of the place you are licking the tootsie pop at.

Well, how dry is your tongue? Also, do you drool? Also, so people won't laugh, it's spelled "tootsie". In my experience, I will lick until I just decide to bite that dude and get the tootsie pop.

i've never actually got that bored or had the time to sit there and actually count how many licks it takes.But i've seen the commercials when i was younger and it said three. so there you go
