TAKE ME DRUNK I'M HOME ALCOHOLIC'S NONSENSE WHATS WRONG WITH LIKING BEER MORE THAN THE WIFE HIC .THEY BOTH TASTE ROTTEN BUT I KNOW WHAT I PREFER.

I drink to get drunk, but I like the taste of certain mixed drinks and beers. My boyfriend and I like to go to the beer distributor and try out different things from around the world.
Also, I would say that the difference between liking to get drunk and being an alcoholic depends on how frequently you get drunk, how old you are, and why you drink.
I say how old you are because I know that when you are in your 20's like me, you're either in college and drinking everynight or you've dropped out of college and drinking frequently. Once you lose control of yourself, you're an alcoholic.
Also, if you drink to feel more powerful, confident and social, and you don't feel very good about yourself when you are sober, you're probably an alcoholic.

It is shall we say diplomatically tres gauche to drink to get drunk. If you do this you need to dry out and get into a an alcohol abuse program before you ruin your life if you have not already have.
One should only consume alcohol as part of a meal. It helps the digestrion and in the case of wine is good for the heart in SMALL AMOUNTS. I take small amounts to mean limiting oneself to not more than 16 oz a day of low level alcohol content wines and 8 oz of higher. and preferably less taken with a meal. As far as the heavy stuff is concerned such as brandy ----not more than 4 oz a day ALL OF THIS DEPENDS ON WHAT SIZE YOU ARE. IF YOU ARE BIG PERSON YOU MAY TAKE A LITTLE MORE BUT IF A SMALL PERSON YOU MUST TAKE LESS. THE ABOVE IS GIVEN IN GENERAL TERMS. .

I drink it 2 get drunk 2!! Ur only an alcoholic if u drink from the second u get up till the second u go sleep.

I drink to get drunk. My Name is daniel and Im an alcoholic. I drink Busch Light because its smooth and I drink King Cobra to get drunk. Ill drink cheap vodka also out of the plastic bottle like popov too. You are an alcoholic, its not as bad as everyone makes it out ot be, is it?

both i don't like the taste of some alcohol but there is some that i do, for instants tropical vk(vodka kick) it just tastes like lilt and no it doesn't mean your an alcoholic just because you like to get drunk. alcoholics drink because they can get through the day without

I asked that same question 5 years ago. I haven't had a drink in about 4 years now and things are just fine. I've found quite a few other refreshing drinks to enjoy and I remember how many I've had.

i like the taste but even if it did taste bad i would still drink it to get drunk, no you are not necessarily an alcoholic just cause you drink to get drunk!

Obviously I drink alcohol to get drunk. I drink TEA because I like the taste, but I wouldn't drink six pints of it in one evening.
(Although my parents probably would.)

Well, I have no idea what the 'tase' of alcohol is, so I can't say whether I like it or not.
I do find, though, that after one or two good wines, it getsh li' almos' any ol' dieshesel ... dieshel .. aw ... shtuff it ... y'no'wh'ai'mean .... Go'ny change fer cuppertee, guv?

I think I like the taste because I self-medicate to the point of drunkeness.
