Timing is everything ! Mexico is in a state of turmoil (today with the election issues). We can invade using our Army (already on the border now), a little fighting may ensue, may lose a troop or two, but,,, hey... "Remember the Alamo"..... This wouldn't be that difficult.... Let's Roll !!! No more immigration problems. Mexico would be our 51st State... The Lil' Chihuahua would be the national bird (if we shot it out of a cannon...).... !!!

Boy! What an idea. I think your plan should be slightly expanded. Take over Mexico and at the same time take Canada,too. Talk about North American solidarity you've got it.
Canada to the north has a border with Alaska and tiny Denmark while Mexico's southern border is a lot smaller the her northern border with the U.S.
And last, but not least, think of all that oil you could get your hands on. Mexico has a big chunk of the Caribbean being mined for oil and Canada has the second or third largest reservoir of oil in the world. Geez, I wonder if the West Wing has thought of this?

NO, you bonehead, that's what mexico WANTS, is to become part of the United States. Free ride all day long, then...sad statement that invading their country would be doing them a favor, but it's probably true. On the other hand, we've been doing mexico a LOT of 'favors' recently, and they're into us for 10's if not HUNDREDS of billions of dollars by now. We need someone in Congress that held an 'honest job' at some point in their lives, and can manage money....this 8.4 trillion dollar debt garbage is as wrong as 2 boys...well, you know...no, I don't want to see Mexico as the 51st state, 50's a nice round number.

yea.. heck, once the whole continent is taken over we move to asia and then europe and then the world... And since currently the U.S.already (partially) dominates world, it might as well be official.
What a ridiculous idea.. the mexicans (some) dont even want to see an american because they think americans are greedy and evil and taking their resources. Americans (some) think their culture is being "disolved" by foreigners... I smell chaos...
If a "north american country" was to be created things must be taken care of before any unity is done... And a military take over is just not logical.
If the U.S. was to take over countries then it would slapping itself as it would be doing the very same thing the soviets did..

It wouldn't be the "end of immigration problems". The illegals aren't just Mexicans. Illegals are coming from Central America and South America and from other countries and they go thru Mexico to get here. If you made Mexico a state, they just wouldn't have as far to go to get into the U.S.

Why stop at Mexico?
Let's go at least as far south as Guatemala.
I don't want the American enclave around my future air conditioned, beach front vacation home to be too crowded.

Good idea, but don't you think Vincenti Fox will turn around and sue us. He was planning to when we thought of closing off our borders. I think we outta have a war with them to shut them the Hell up for good. Then as we are doing the same with Iraq, fix their corrupt goverment and rebuild em. Plus cleanse ourself of the illegal aliens. So I think the idea is bullsh!t and never gonna be the case. I think we should sue them though. We have alot to bring up, like the lack of jobs and mistreatment.

it would just give us a lot more trouble considering Mexico doesnt even want to be part of the US we havent had any problems with rebellion since the civil war and i dont think we should make it start now. the US will fall when it loses its morals and Mexico doesnt want to become part of the US so i dont think we should make it part of the US.

That idea sucks! There is no way that true Americans would accept that. Why would we want their crap hole of a country attached to our great nation and the refuse that comes with it?!!! NO WAY NO HOW. Do you think they will ever pledge allegiance to our flag? No. They only want our handouts and I KNOW that I will NEVER have anything to do with their buzzard rag, except maybe to burn it or wipe my a$$ on.
