Well, you can either try cooling for an hour or so or you can just frost and decorate in the Pan you made it in.....But if you cool it then let it cool for at least an hour or more. then try flipping it. If it doesn't come out easy then just decorate it in the pan. It will be fine I do this all the time. Just use your imagination....use cookies and or cup cakes for shapes and frost over them. you can turn a Twinkies into a boat and crumble wafers to make sand and use gum balls to make beach balls....etc. JUST work with what you have. It will be Fine. And "Good for you" to do such a cool thing for you sis.

Ahhh...that's sweet that you baked your sister a cake. ☺
I think you should let it cool, then take a butter knife and run it around the edges. When you cut it into pieces, carefully try to pull the bottom away from the pan. The first piece might be hard to get out in one piece, but after that it'll be easier. Just take the pieces out slowly and you should be fine!!

Not sure if freezing it would help, but it's worth a shot. Seems like it might be easier to get out of the pan when it's frozen. You'll have to freeze it for several hours or over night, then run a knife around the edges to loosen it. Good luck!

let it cool off and when its all the way cooled, take a butter knife and very lightly go around the edges between the cake and the pan.then gently plop it onto a plate. hope this helps...good luck
