Nope. The theory of evolution was proposed by those who were secular humanists, and who wanted to get rid of a belief in God. The two ideas, creation and evolution, are mutually exclusive. They cannot coexist. If you believe in the biblical account of creation, then you cannot believe that the Earth has been around for millions of years. The account in Genesis clearly states that God breathed life into the man who became a living soul. (Not primordial ooze, or a fish with legs, but man.)

There are those who postulate that you can mix the two, and have attempted to do so by employing "theistic evolution," where God put the parts in place and let them spin together over millions/billions of years. Others propose a "gap" theory, where in Genesis 1:1, the earth was created, but in Genesis 1:2, God judged that earth, and recreated it in Genesis 1:3, hoping that the time frame matches the scientific theory. Others will ask, "How long was a day during creation?" hoping that the answer is millions of years long each.

Because there are no witnesses to what occurred during creation, anything that man comes up with is a theory, and unable to be proven through a scientific process, which requires the scientific method.

The scientific method requires:

# 1. Observe some aspect of the universe.
# 2. Invent a tentative description, called a hypothesis, that is consistent with what you have observed.
# 3. Use the hypothesis to make predictions.
# 4. Test those predictions by experiments or further observations and modify the hypothesis in the light of your results.
# 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until there are no discrepancies between theory and experiment and/or observation.

But this is supposed to be based on observable facts. Evolution cannot achieve this using the traditional scientific method. What does that leave?

Faith. Just like those he criticizes for following myths, the evolutionist is practicing his faith. The evolutionist believes in the theory. They have their own scriptures, and apologea. And woe unto those who knowingly or unknowing tread on "holy" ground. They'll eat you alive. You'd think for all their vitriol, that you were in a church full of hypocrites.

Since evolution absolutely does not happen, that would be no.

However, the basis of your question is sound. It is highly likely that God created man through scientific principles we don't really understand yet. The world is not a chaotic place. It is governed by clearly observable principles of universal natural law. A small part of that has been observed, categorized and is applied for benefit....we call it science. Probably, the same rules apply to us and our place in the universe.

However, not evolution. Evolution is a fraud. And it's currently being used as an attempt to manipulate people out of their faith and to live life in such a way that ignores universal natural law. The people doing this are evil. This has nothing to do with any legitimate debate between science and religion. Quite frankly, these two things are not at odds with eachother. But, evolution is junk science. It's a theory that has been proven false in every single sphere of scientific inquiry.

Sure, I think so. It surprises me that religious people don't realize that evolution is actually a process inspired by God. If you believe in God, then isn't nature and all of its intricate processes one of His amazing inspirations, and wouldn't the process of evolution be on of those processes of nature? Why can't Adam represent the first Homosapien that split paths from the Apes?

Although I'm not certain of this being true, I'm open to the possibility. I'll have to read up on this more in the Quran, which I believe in.

No. Speciation occurs in the world, and has always occurred, but the difference between speciation and evolution is that the theory of evolution states that through genetic mutations MORE genetic information increases and furthers the advancement of a species. Genetic mutations ALWAYS cause a loss of genetic information, and there-by create speciation. A cat is a cat, is a Siamese, is a Manx, is a Bengal, etc.

You are on the right track... evolution is a real process. Who is to say that the big bang wasn't God creating the universe at that very second, and then letting it evolve? Good question! Take care.

It is entirely possible. The Catholic Church has stated that although we do not know how God did it evolution need not be in conflict with Catholic faith. You do not explain complicated matters using complicated terms with a 1 year old. Who knows how He created this world? It really is only important that He did.

maybe not through evolution but because of it. I think that when god created the world, because he has no sense of time thousands of years went by in one of his days. so when it came time to make man , the men on earth wernn't up to his standards so he created Adam. Why do you think no one has found the so called missing link? we found all kinds of old bones but no bones of the link between cavemen and modern man. There isn't a missing link there was Adam.

We are actually products of genetic engineering from ETs. We are hybrids of the native population of earth and the ETs themselves. With their vastly superior technology, they were believed to be Gods. Thus we have both being "made in God's image," as well as the "missing link."

Actually, you've got that a$$-backwards. It is MAN that created the MYTH of God in HIS (man's) own image.
