No, it's a logical fallacy to say all atheists are "immoral" or are bad people because they do not believe in God.

That is a form of a fallacy known as an Appeals to Authority (or argumentum ad verecundiam for you brainiacs out there). It's like saying "the Bible says X so therefore X must be the right thing."

there are immoral people in any religion, whether it be Christians, Atheist, Pagans Muslims, whatever......it has nothing to do with the religion and everything to do with the person, and the choices they make. To say that it's just one denomination is wrong. The important thing is to overcome all the immoral activity. To stand up against all the wrong that is going on and to get rid of the filth that is overcoming society. I believe that that can be done by anyone who opposes such, the problem......more and more are choosing the immoral behavior to follow instead of stand for right.

It can be a mind boggling event to a believer of any faith to find someone who doesn't believe in God. I think the reason alot of people freak out is because they derive their moral code and standard of living from their religion or belief system. If someone has a belief system that does not include God, it can be a hard concept to grasp for them that someone still has a moral code or standard of living. It freaks them out even more when they realize that the code or standard of the atheist is similar in principle to their own. They totally run for the hills when the atheist lives a life more based in integrity then they the believer do.

Many people think atheists are immoral because they judge them against their belief system. Since many people believe in deities they cannot fathom how someone doesn't believe. They don't respect that each path is a personal choice and there is no wrong or right in the path you choose.

Atheists are not immoral because they don't believe in God. They are entitled to their own opinions. My uncle was Anglican until he lost his wife and unborn child. It was then he became an atheist. He still treated everyone with respect and never spoke a bad word. He just chose to no longer believe in God because in his words "If God really existed, He wouldn't have taken them both." Nothing anyone would say to him could convince him otherwise. Other then his non-believing in a high power, he was still a wonderful man.

Anyone that commits immorality is immoral. And it happens a whole lot within the mainstream christian professing religons. A lot of it is the fault of the shepards. They are not about to tell their sheep how serious immorality is because they don't want to lose that tithing.
So they will tell their sheep just to ask for forgiveness and they'll get it. They don't tell their sheep to absolutely not do it again and the consequences when they do.

Atheism is too definite, just as theism. Agnostic is truly the only way, though leaning atheism is acceptable, too.

Atheists can base their values off of religions, but deeper than that they are based on the logic and rationale of human fears and desires. After all, religious morals were created by men. They are simply believed to have been from God.

Men created those morals, so we can find ones just as admirable. And, we do. And more.

Maybe it is because the only unforgivable sin is total denial of God. Even if a person is not very religious they can still believe in God. Atheist don't believe. So maybe that's why. Although if they do they should just pray and not judge. I would never judge anyone because of their beliefs.

I don't necessarily think that atheists are immoral. I believe a lot of them are really good people. But what I don't think they realize is, their goodness comes from God.

Not all atheists are immoral. Not all christians are moral. Morality is relative to the person.
