If you want ALL the visible boxes and lines on screen, including the ones you have not written any text or numbers into, then you can use the 'print grid lines' option. Either do what the other answerers have said, or
Go to the menu 'File', then select 'Page Setup'.
There should be a tab named 'sheet', select this, and make the option 'gridlines' in the 'print' section is selected/crossed.
Now, if you want only the boxes and lines for the text you wrote printed out, then the answerer above gives a better solution, but no example of how to do it. That is, using a border around the boxes and text cells
There are two ways of doing this, (1) a slow way, or (2) a shortcut
(1) For every cell or box you want a border to print
- Select the cell
- Go the menu 'Format'
- Select 'Cells'
- Select the tab 'Border'
Then you can select to place a border anywhere around the cell or box. Eg, Either left or right sides, top or bottom, diagonals.
You can also select the style of line, 'line' 'style:', to place aound it
- Select 'OK'
(2) For each cell, select the toolbar item that controls the borders. It has a drop down menu to allow selection of different types of borders, but you cannot select the line style.
Note: You can select multiple cells and format them all the same.
If still unsure, check the Microsoft Help for 'Apply borders to cells'.

Print with or without cell gridlines
Click the worksheet.
On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Sheet tab.
Select or clear the Gridlines check box.
Click Print.
Note Worksheets print faster if you print without gridlines.

Select the area on the sheet for which you want to print the border. On formatting toolbar, there is an icon "Border", it has a list of different styles of borders. Choose one from the list, having all the borders. Now see the print preview for the result.

Rather than print gridlines, you should format cells with borders around them.
