I find this question as mockery to the Christian belief. The belief in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is a public acknowledgment of the denial of Christ. How very sad!
I will pray not only for your friend but for you as well that you both find the true LIGHT and come unto Him before you find yourselves in the pit of hell.

I would pray, but God has a plan for everyone. Do we think we know better than God? Do we think we're going to change His mind?
How about this, you and your friend get together and YOU, as a person, comfort him. Remember what you liked about the loved one and how he affected your lives. In this way he'll live forever - in your memory. Death is a part of life but when a person dies we have the gift of memory... smile when you think of this person. A loved one's death is gonna hurt, only being there for that person and time will help...

Subject: Love and Obey.
O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice
and be glad all our days.
( PSALM 90:14 KJV )
Dear Loved One,
God is a friend and companion for those who
love and obey His Word. For as king David said, THY
WORD IS A LAMP UNTO MY FEET, AND A LIGHT FOR MY PATH.
( PSALM 119:105 )
After all it is written; THE LORD HIMSELF GOES
BEFORE YOU AND WILL BE WITH YOU; HE WILL NEVER LEAVE
YOU NOR FORSAKE YOU. So why not spend a little time in
prayer with God each and every day. You will find
Him to be your very best Friend indeed! Amen.
I would now like to share a poem with you,
David. It is called.....
"My Unseen Guest"
God walks the trail with me each day,
He is my Friend, My Guide
However long or steep the road,
He's ever by my side.
He sits with me in evening's hush;
We speak, we laugh, we pray,
And my heart sings a joyful song...
He's never far away.
And through each dark and lonely night,
He's guarding from above.
In perfect peace, I rest secure
In His eternal love.
Poet, Lee Simmons
With My Love & Prayers,
David

1. Your friend is a loser
2. Prayers are COMPLETELY innefective;
In the bible it states if you ask, you shall recieve (paraphrased)
Why are their murders? I'm sure many, many people have prayed for an end to murder
Prayer clashes with "God's plan"
