Because girls were taught from there mothers, "DO NOIT SIT ON PUBLIC TOILET SEATS!" Women are supposed to stand over the seat and piddle. that is why some always gets on the seat. You never know who was on it last, and you don't want to catch what they have. Some public restrooms have the toilet seat covers to put down, if you have to sit. Some don't. If you want to take the time, you can always get some paper towels and wash it off. Some times it might also be the force of the toilet flushing getting the seat wet. So tell themplease, if you sprinkle when you tinkle, please be neat and wipe the seat. That is what my mother did tell me. And I have seen some rest rooms with that sign hanging up on the door. Have a nice night.

Some people either had no self control or couldn't hold it in long enough for it to get IN the toilet. Those same people are also probaly too ignorant or rude or disgusting to clean it up. Besides, aren't people supposed to use seat covers??
FYI, folks: you can contract only one disease from toilet seats, an STD, if you don't use a seat cover!

well women who think the toilet is dirty usually are the ones squating over the toilet seat instead of sitting down making the problem worse. It just builds up from there...statistics say that your car keys and cell phone are more dirty then a public restroom toilet seat.

Squatters: They are afraid to sit on the seat, so they squat over the seat and pee all over it- splashes etc. Women aren't know for accuracy. Of course then they "can't be bothered" to wipe their own pee off the seat when they are through. Nastiness.

it's a public bathroom. i mean there are all kinds of people using it and there may be people with rashes on their butt or they can have spreadsble diseases. if you sit on the toilet seat then it may be easily contracted. i will advise you not to sit on the toilet seat, but people don't have to mess it up.

Not everyone does it intentionally. I did it the other day. I was so busy giggling on the inside at the lady in the stall next me. She had gas and sounded like a machine gun. I was so tickled that I missed my aim trying to see her shoes so that I could identify her later. I shot straight on the seat. Afterward, I wet a wad of paper towels and cleaned it up.

because they are paranoid and feel like they need to squat instead of sit, but I saw on a news program that their is less bacteria on your butt cheeks than on your hands or even your face. And most diseases like herpes or hepatitis can't be caught from a toilet seat or urine. Old wives tales basically, and if everybody would just sit I wouldn't have to squat to avoid sitting in urine!! We always touch things other people touch with their hands but don't seem to have a problem with that.

i in my view under no circumstances pee on the lavatory seat. i pick it to be as sparkling as plausible. That way i am going to virtually assure the subsequent individual in there'll experience secure about sitting down. it truly is when I snort my *** off because as they're about to ascertain, I maced up the lavatory seat and pooped contained in the sink.

Well to be honest i think people act this way because it is not their restroom and they are not going to be the one's cleaning it up. They are just in the mode of not caring at all. Its rather rude being that others are going to be using the toilet .

Probably simple carelessness, and an unwillingness to touch the rest of the bathroom or toilet.
