Have you watched any of the videos on the Minutemen website?

'Rape tree' etc? What do you think about that? Do you think that citizens concerned about illegal immigrants are just a bunch of dumb hicks, or are they trying to do something honorable for the country? Why do you feel that way, what do you think about the Minutemen/america in general in terms of dealing with illegal immigration?

It would appear that they are more honorable than a few here. The few here who say different, have not talk to most of those Americans who have daily trouble in those areas.
It is apparent they are heartless to their troubles--so my guess would be they are bias in favor or someone else. To bad we can't send them there to stay a week and watch them on camera to their reactions. Maybe they are young and never really saw what some here must do just to protect themselves on a daily basis. So they lack knowledge and understanding.

People's concerns about Illegal Immigration fall on both sides of the honorable fence. The Minutemen espouse a rather focused doctrine to weed out the racists & kooks.
There would be no need for groups like them if the US gov't would enforce the law of the land at the border and in hiring illegals.

The Minutemen are a great organization. I find it hypocritical that people think they are racist. There is way too much proof that they are humane and honorable with the agenda at hand. I support them and am glad they are there. Those people who break the law coming here are facing far worse dangers by the human smugglers. This is what I find hypocritical. Why doesn't anyone see that those that bring them across illegally can also harm them far worse. There is no honor in those that bring across illegal aliens.

It's a hate group......plain and simple. Not knocking it......this is America. But again, any group that targets humans is a HATE GROUP.

Oh and to answer the rest of the question. Concerned citizens are FANTASTIC......concerned citizens are what America needs. I would not consider what these "people" are doing honorable. Perhaps if they were patrolling our government offices.......sitting outside our Congressmans doors......effecting the legislation without targeting a HUMAN BEING well then I would be A MINUTEMAN, MINUTEWOMAN, MINUTEHO, MINUTE whatever.

My opinion and mine only......this fosters hate and hate doesn't help this or any situation.

I think the Minutemen's purpose is honorable, but sadly, a lot of people join them or support them just to have an outlet for their racist beliefs. There's nothing wrong with wanting to reduce illegal immigration, but there is something wrong with hating Hispanics.

I support the Minutemen and many do." Link "TV had a special documentary on them-Walk the Line -and many people need their help. Their town isn't helping and they are. I would hate to live like some who were interviewed. Unless you do or see it--you don't know how bad it is.
