I was raised in the country in West Va to be exact, I have called it pop all my life. I moved to Texas 5 years ago and everyone down here calls it Soda. I can't break the habit of calling it pop. I always get made fun of. So my question is do you call it Pop or soda and why?

In VA/NC border I visited my uncle for the summer, he used to call it sasbrillo like they did in the 1800's. As for pop or soda, I don't drink the stuff. Too much sugar.
